Every Scape raises the bar on Google Street View

Author: I don’t know who’s seen or heard of everyscape.com, but wow, its the next evolution in street view (and getting to go inside locations!) really looking and feeling 3-D from JPEGS and vid clips, wow. Difference between this and Google Street View is the parallax views don’t get distorted, it really looks 3-D. This company, everyscape.com apparently has 2 patents and more patents in the works and just had $12 million bucks invested into it, check it out. Awesome stuff.
Of course, there are security issues with this too, you’re invariably making the inner world visible to intruders, would-be criminals (IMHO), see my previous Apple GPS camera post on Life ’09 here.
Anyone else feel like that quantum leap in tech is just around the corner? Can’t see it yet? Maybe Every Scape can help. Cheers.
